Scott here from ADTREX Ltd. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit this page. In the past I spent a considerable amount of time working as a Freelance Instructor in the outdoor industry. I was always a little hesitant before applying for a position with a company I had never worked with and I am sure many other instructors feel this way too. To this end, I have included testimonials from some of our staff which will, hopefully, give you a feel for how ADTREX Ltd works with staff and clients.

ADTREX Ltd are a Kent based company specialising in the delivery of high quality DofE Expedition Programmes and DofE Adult Leader Training.

Our intention is for staff to feel supported, valued and satisfied with their period of employment with us. We constantly strive to provide the required information and resources in a timely manner leading up to a programme in order to allow staff to maintain our high standards of safety and service.

At ADTREX Ltd we encourage open communication, a professional working environment and a working philosophy based on trust and mutual respect.   • I have been involved with Scott and ADTREX for several years undertaking a freelance role under the DofE umbrella. Having initially sought out Scott in order to gain relevant qualifications for outdoors education, I have been impressed with the way Scott has run the company and his commitment and professionalism in growing the company has made ADTREX what it is today. Freelancers working for ADTREX follow a tried and tested brief in delivering DofE for ease of control, safety and communication but there is ample scope for putting your own stamp on the training and supervision of the young participants. There is a great sense of camaraderie within the team and also fun to be had which makes involvement with ADTREX all the more rewarding. I would definitely recommend ADTREX to anyone considering joining the freelance team.

  • I’ve worked for ADTREX for a number of years on a variety of their programmes. The information provided at the start of each job has been very detailed and complete. As a freelancer I know that this is not always the case! So it’s refreshing to turn up to a job knowing that everything will be in place, that kit is in good condition and with plenty of spares for the inevitable mishaps, and that there are open and easy lines of communication available. This helps me to do a better job and feel satisfied at the end. This is followed up with swift payment of invoices making ADTREX a great choice for work.
